A bit more attention to shower pressure would improve the experience!!! consideration for more accessible stair options could greatly enhance convenience, especially for those with mobility challenges!!!

A delightful experience with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The vegan cottage pie was outstanding, packed with vegetables, and the pudding options were heavenly. The room was clean and well-maintained, though pillows could be softer. While the dining experience was mostly satisfying, the portion sizes for certain meals could be improved to better match the guests' expectations.

Comfortable Stay with Warm Hospitality
Enjoyed a relaxing night in a bright room featuring a lovely walk-in shower. The thoughtful addition of an electric fan made our stay extra comfortable on a warm day. Breakfast was freshly cooked, though a menu would enhance the experience. Plenty of parking available.

The Classic Double Room felt cozy, with charming decor that gives off a rustic vibe. The bathroom included high-quality toiletries which added a nice touch to the stay.
Unfortunately, the noise from the pub below can invade your room, especially if you're light on sleep. Being above the toilet didn't help, as I could hear the door slamming and the flush during the night. the mattress on the bed was a tad too soft, leading to a restless night for my traveling partner who ended up on the single bed instead. Explicit information on meal times would have been beneficial. we weren't aware that dinner service ended early, which sent us into town for takeaway after a long drive.

I booked a Classic Double Room at The Haymaker Inn for a night in early June 2024. The old-world charm of the decor really stood out. it felt warm and inviting as soon as I walked in. The room was clean and spacious, making me feel comfortable immediately. The bed was especially nice, providing a good night’s sleep after a long day. Breakfast was impressive. the quality was high, and there was more than enough to fill me up before heading out. The staff were friendly and attentive to all requests, enhancing the stay. I noticed some accessibility issues, especially with the stairs, which weren’t convenient for seniors or those with mobility challenges. The outside of the pub looked a bit tired and could use some freshening up to match the lovely interior. my experience was enjoyable, but those areas need attention.
